Trained where India sends its hardest cases. Practising where you live.
Dr. Harshit Patel — MS (Gold Medalist), M.Ch Surgical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai — brings apex-institute training to Ahmedabad and Vadodara, delivered at human scale, in your language.
surgery only
Why cancer surgery — and why here?
“I chose surgical oncology because it is where you meet people at their most frightened — and where skill, honesty and time can genuinely change how the story ends.”
Training at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, teaches two things at once: the highest technical standard in the country, and humility — because outcomes depend as much on listening and judgement as on technique. On doing the right operation for the right patient, not the impressive one.
Nine years and more than five thousand operations later, my conviction has only grown. Patients don’t remember publications. They remember whether someone finally explained the disease in their own language — Gujarati, Hindi or English — whether the plan made sense, and whether the phone was answered when it mattered.
That is the practice I have built in Ahmedabad and Vadodara. Treating the person, not just the cancer.

clearing.
